The Maritime Song at the Mercy Awards

Fredericton (September 24, 2005) – Stephanie Mainville performed The Maritime Song at the opening of the New Brunswick Gospel Music Hall of Fame’s 4th Annual Mercy Awards.

Stephanie, backed by a large group of musicians and dancers received a very enthusiastic standing ovation from the audience of nearly 1,000 people after the energetic performance.  Thanks to the supporting musicians:  John Cudmore (acoustic guitar); Cynthia Cudmore (keyboard/accordion); Carolyn Murray (backing vocals /percussion); Tim Davidson (bass); Micah Peterson (drums) and the dancers led by Shiloh Peterson and Jackie Brayley.

Here's what one person had to say:  “The “opening act" was awesome as Stephanie Mainville came...playing the fiddle and singing prophetically a song over the Maritimes...when she stepped onto the platform?  My, my, my...the song, the atmosphere in the room was electrifying...as the dancers came springing down the aisles.  I was standing back stage thanking the Lord continually."

Another board member said:  "it blew the socks off me!!!."
