Stephanie shares GMA Canada's 2006 Covenant
Award for Special Events/Compilation Album
of the Year

(October 28, 2006) –
The song You from
Stephanie’s award-winning debut album was
included on a compilation CD released by CMC
Canada. The song was selected from among
500 submissions to the “Great Canadian
Worship Song Search” and re-released on the
30 track Sea to Sea: I See The Cross CD.
The Gospel Music Association of Canada (GMA
Canada) announced last week that this
project was awarded the 2006 Covenant Award
for “SPECIAL EVENTS/COMPILATION OF
THE YEAR”. This is
Stephanie’s 2nd Covenant Award. In 2005 she
received a Covenant Award for Ern’s Waltz.
The song was named
Canada’s “Instrumental Song of the
Year”. The 28th Annual Covenant
Awards were handed out in Calgary on October 27th.

nominations since its release on New
Year’s Eve in 2004. In the past
year, Stephanie has been a featured
official showcase performer at the
Junos, the CCMAs, the ECMAs, and
Music NB Week. |
