FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Impacting Christian Radio Across Canada

Family receiving radio airplay across the country

Saint John (December 1, 2005)Stephanie Mainville’s voice and her fiddle can now be heard playing on Christian radio across Canada. The current single, You, is being added to many stations.  Over the past few months every song from her debut release Family has been played on radio stations throughout the country.  Several stations have submitted Stephanie's songs to the More Radio trade publication as "Recommended CANCON".

Here’s what the stations are playing and saying:

Ontario

bulletFaithFM (Kitchener-Waterloo) “…it's great to hear that Stephanie's music is getting airplay right across Canada because I know that I love it, personally!!!  We are playing You! already and look forward to hearing the softer version of it!– Joy Cooper, Music Director/Youth Program Coordinator, Faith FM

bulletPower 93.9FM (Brantford)  We are playing Stephanie’s music in our rotation.  We are currently playing You, Ceilidh, Looking for More, We will arise and I Feel the Winds of God.  I really like her music” – Vicki Schleifer, Station Manager

bulletUCB Canada (Belleville) Playing He’s A Faithful God, I Feel The Winds of God and Israel (Isaiah 61), and You!  “I love to play Stephanie's music....it captures me....and some of her songs, like Faithful God, blow through my spirit in a way that can only come from a truly great song.  It's so exciting to know that she is a mom of four kids who simply loves God and expresses herself through her music."   Dana Rogalsky, Midday Announcer, UCB 102.3FM

bulletCJOA (Thunder Bay):  Playing Can’t Wait, I Feel The Winds of God, Ceilidh, You! and You.

New Brunswick

bulletNewSong FM (Saint John): Playing Looking For More, The Maritime Song, You! and You

bulletCITA 105.9 FM (Moncton) Playing You, Israel (Isaiah 61), The Maritime Song and Family.   We have been giving [Family] lots of airplay, not because we know Stephanie, but simply because it is a great cd … the track 14 version of  "You" is the one that I have been playing a lot. We had a contest give-away of 3 of the cds and received so many calls for copies afterward that La Bonne Nouvelle one of our Christian bookshops are stocking it.  Seeing it included on "Sea to Sea" can only help to get it across to a wider audience.” Trevor Wilson

bulletLife 101.1 (Miramichi):  Playing You!, Looking For More and I Feel The  Winds of God

bulletCFMH 92.5 FM UNBSJ (Saint John): Has played River Reel/Flowers of Edinburgh, Ceilidh, Ern's Waltz, You, Sweet, I Feel The Winds of God, and Looking For More

bulletCBC Radio One (Saint John):  Has played He’s A Faithful God, Ern’s Waltz

bulletCountry 94.1 (Saint John):  Has featured Ern’s Waltz

Nova Scotia

bulletHope 98.5 (Truro) You! is a very good tune, and well-produced.” – Kevin Fifield, Station Manager

bulletCJLU 93.9 FM (Halifax)  I heartily endorse Stephanie Mainville's music as much needed for the times. Her music is unique to the Maritimes and has a prophetic message which will help heal our land.  The music is skillful and the lyrics engaging but more than that it is a powerful tool in the hands of the Lord.  Society will listen to a poet or a singer where they may not be prepared to hear the rhetoric of a politician or a preacher.  Her music can help enact social change. We need to give her air time for the love of our country.” Jeff Lutes, Station Manager

bulletCVCR (Aylesford) “…we play Stephanie here in the Annapolis Valley. She is a regular on our weekly Canadian only program "Close To Home". On last week’s show we played River Reel and as I'm sending this email You is on the air. Keep up the great work!” Sonny Fredericks, Station Manager

Yukon

bulletNewLife FM (Whitehorse) Playing: Looking For More, Ceilidh, You! and Can’t Wait
