The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is pleased to announce an exciting and diverse line-up for JunoFest. Presented by Yahoo! Music Canada in association with ANR Lounge, CTV, Q104, and The Coast, JunoFest will feature over 100 local, regional and national artists - half of which will be from the Atlantic Region with the remainder drawn from 2006 JUNO Awards nominees and other acclaimed artists. JunoFest performers, representing a variety of musical genres, will showcase at 15 venues in the Halifax area from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. each night. World Vision is pleased to present the first official Contemporary Christian showcase as part of Junofest. Confirmed artists include The Contact, Three Season Ant, Stephanie Mainville and Amanda Falk, nominated this year for Contemporary Christian / Gospel Album of the Year. The JunoFest venue for the CCM showcase is The Salvation Army Church at 1327 Barrington St. in downtown Halifax. Tickets for the CCM showcase are $15 in advance, available online at www.yourticketzone.com and $20 at the door. Tickets for JunoFest typically sell out, and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
